The Elektro RSR Project is our test bed for the development of EV infrastructure and cutting edge battery technology for both the road and track.
TELEFUNKEN has taken a classic Porsche RSR & seamlessly merged it with EV technology. This particular conversion utilizes a Tesla motor and cutting edge, high-performance, lithium-ion technology to propel this vintage Porsche RSR into the future of elektro motor racing.
TELEFUNKEN Elektromotors EV conversions are fully reversible and can be installed to virtually any vehicle, with our passion and focus being classic air-cooled Porsche & Volkswagen.

Epic Performance
With all of the advantages of a modern electric drive system, we expect our Elektro RSR project to have a zero to 60 in just over 2 seconds and a top speed of over 160 mph. The modern electric drive system's advantage of on demand horsepower and torque offer a new perspective on the classic RSR.
